Amazon Prime Day 2016 Knife & Outdoor Gear Discounts

I wasn’t going to do a post about Prime Day because I wasn’t so sure the deals would be any good. In my opinion, Amazon seems to essentially have made up a shopping holiday out of a random day in July, and I wasn’t sure how well it would work out. Obviously, it all depended on what was being offered and if the deals were steep enough (minimum 20% off in my opinion for it to be worth talking about).

While there isn’t as much on sale as we really would’ve liked (in case you haven’t noticed, we like a healthy dose of variety here on More Than Just Surviving), the sales that do exist really aren’t all that bad, especially considering most are in the 25-30% off price range. So I thought I’d do you the favour of sorting through the deals for you, in case you were too lazy to look (if you aren’t too lazy to look for yourself, here’s the page that shows all the Amazon Prime Deals).

Please remember that you need to have Amazon Prime to take advantage of these offers – but don’t worry, cause if you don’t, there’s that whole 30-day free trial thing, so just grab it and then cancel after 29 days or whatnot. No harm done to your pocket that way.

Again, not too many great deals, unfortunately, but certainly some good ones if you’re in the market for general survival & outdoor products.

Remember that with lightening deals, some of these may have ended before you got to them while others may start later in the day.

Honestly speaking, not bad deals. As I said a million times by now, just wish there was more variety. Hopefully next year!
