Thomas has been collecting some of Cold Steel’s oversized folders lately. His favourite of these is the Vaquero, though he admittedly says that the Voyager XL Tanto is going for an absurdly cheap price on Amazon right now and is thus the most bang-for-buck folder of these at the moment (- and I quote, “$40? That’s just stupid pricing”). Wonder how long the low pricing will last.

Howdy Cole! Been looking at Schrade stuff and in the future we will definitely take a look at their options and plan out some reviews. We are currently really backlogged so I wouldn’t expect them this year but keep your eyes peeled for 2016!
Check out http://survivalthreads.com/topic/88-products-to-review-list-for-more-than-just-surviving/ for a list of upcoming reviews (you need to log in before viewing) so as you can see- really got our work cut out for us! ;)

Nice knives but not my piece of cake. Anything over 3 1/2″ I prefer fixed blades.

Sometimes a folding monster can be a lot of fun! These Cold Steels straddle the line between toy and practical but I gotta be honest- I do love carrying them once in a while!
