It’s 2017! Looking for our Cyber Monday 2016 Knife & Gear Deals article? Click here!
Okay so Cyber Monday deals on Amazon were nothing like last year’s. Yes, there are a few good product sales, but not much at all in the outdoor category, and only very few actual knives that have reasonable sales.
Seems all the attention went to the electronics section this year, but that’s not what this blog is about so we’re not going to take the time to go through all the cool gadgets, unrelated to survival & outdoor gear, that are on sale this year. Definitely take the time to check it out if it’s something you’re interested in, however.
This year Blade HQ’s Cyber Monday sales by far beat Amazon’s with regards to discounts on knives. Hoping this is great sale thing is a trend at Blade HQ and other secondary retailers as I’d happily take the money saved up specifically for Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals to specialty stores like Blade HQ if Amazon’s sales are unappealing.
Anyway so on to the deals themselves!
Best Cyber Monday Knife Deals on Blade HQ
Like I said, these are one heck of a lot better than any of the knife deals you’ll find on Amazon this time ’round. Love Blade HQ for doing sales like this.
- Brous Blades VR-71 Liner Lock Flipper Knife G10 (4″ Acid Stonewash) ***
Um greatest deal ever. Especially since it appears to be discontinued. The cheapest Thomas found this knife elsewhere was $240, and it wasn’t even in stock. So if there’s one knife deal we want to flag your attention to it’s this discount. Crazy. - Kershaw Hype Assisted Opening Knife
Red handles also available: here. - Kershaw Skyline Natural Jade Handle Knife
This whole Jade-handle business is a Blade HQ exclusive. Don’t like the stonewash blade? Black available here. - Boker Kalashnikov Automatic Knife
Please check local laws with regards to automatic knives before purchasing. There are a slew of other style options available for this one. To see them all click here. - Protech Runt J4 Automatic Knife Silver/Marbled Carbon Fiber **
Thomas is weeping over the fact that he can’t take advantage of this one. And I quote, “If I could get this, I would. Curse you, UK laws. :(“
In case there’s something else on sale on Blade HQ this Cyber Monday you’d like to take advantage of, visit their Cyber Monday Deals page here.

Best Cyber Monday Knife & Gear Deals on Amazon
Again, I’m really sorry if you were expecting better deals in the survival & outdoors category, but I really couldn’t find any this year!
Please feel free to look for yourself to see if there’s something great I missed, but I unfortunately don’t think so.
Basically this is all we’ve got with regards to decent sales (that both Thomas & I took the time to look for):
Best deal –
That combination is top notch, and the prices make it an excellent deal to take advantage of.
Besides that, there are these items:
Thomas notes that this is the cheapest he can actually find the Finn Wolf – one of his favourite knives, already great value, and something he says he would be okay paying $50 for.
Cold Steel Finn Wolf Scandi EDC Pocket Knife – Amazon
That’s all folks! Sorry to disappoint if you didn’t find anything in there you wanted to snag! Again, the electronics categories seem to house much better prices this year than anything survivalist or prepper related, so turn your attention there if you’ve got any tech needs to fulfill this year.
And let’s hope for better sales next year!

Thank you for having looked.
I learned something somewhat related this last week. A number of manufacturers/factories treat Amazon sales like purchases on eBay – no warranty. I had been picking up glimmerings that Amazon did not back the distributors/sellers using its site. Now, it has been confirmed. Now, I wonder if this also applies to items shipped from Amazon warehouses directly.

Not sure, but we’ve complained to Amazon directly many a time and have always had a positive experience returning with them. That being said, we shop a lot from there so maybe they take that into account with their customer service.
