We’ve dropped by sporadically here and there over the years, but our life up to this point has been so hectic and full of chaos that coming back to our roots – by returning to blogging regularly – has felt more like a long shot dream than a possible reality.
Not this year. This year we’ve got not only the desire and motivation, but have cleared our plates well enough that we can finally jump on back in. And you have no idea how much being away from blogging on MTJS has made us miss it.
The amount of preps we’ve managed to accomplish over the years we’ve been away has made us so proud. And actually, we’ve managed to help a considerable number of relatives become more preparedness-oriented.
And we got our knives back. For those of you who haven’t been following us long – we moved countries twice (continents once), and were separated from our beautiful shinies for so long, we practically forgot we owned a good number of them.
No more separation anxiety. They’re back. We’re back. We have a lot to share, a lot to tell. And hopefully this time we will manage to keep our plates clear enough to never have to take such long breaks between posts again.
Because the community element of this blog – hearing your thoughts, how you guys are doing – is something we have sorely missed and never want to be without again.
But back to the knives, the ones used in this post at least. We won’t leave you hanging with regards to what’s what –
A closer look at all the knives used in each number:

1. Welcome back. You two have been missed.
2. You do excellent reviews of equipment, particularly knives.
Thomas Xavier says
1. Many thanks, I always know I can count on you to be one of the first to comment! We have missed MTJS too.
2. I try, so many knives in the collection that have not been reviewed. Fallkniven F1, ESEE 4, the Spyderco Stretch 2 and countless others. I may have taken a break from posting but I still accumulate haha!
